"The idea is that you love music and then something happens to alter your appreciation. We think of our site as a way for people to get the story off their chest so they can listen to the song again."

So we asked musicians—from the legendary Paul Anka to electronic pioneer Moby to, well, Candlebox—to share their own stories of Ruined Music to accelerate the healing.
